Our first post will be just a picture blog
as we didn't really take enough pictures of the entire trip
and all the little things we did in between...
But we promise to try our best to share as much as possible in the future posts to come:)
Sooooo....
We went there together with Jon's family
and also Khai Siang, which is his sister's boyfriend.
Jon's dad is one of the most hospitable man I know and he took us to visit the
Night Safari, Coal Factory, Eagle and Firefly Sightseeing,Mangrove Plantation
and also the Taiping Museum, Burmese Pool as well as the Taiping Lake.
At the Burmese Pool.
Jon's grandma behind us!
Boat ride during the sightseeing.
Where they burn the coals.
Outside the Coal Factory.
Food at Jon's uncle's restaurant.
Taiping Museum.
Fossil.
Taiping Methodist Church.
His grandma's puppy.
Chilling at the waterfall.
All I could recall was the racing nerves meeting Jon's extended family,
lavishing the scrumptious dishes at his uncle's Chinese restaurant,
spending time and talking to his little cousins and
the late night talks in the spare room in his grandparents house.
Sneak peak:

Grateful for the smoothness of the journey and
precious conversations engaged.
What I reminisce the most
was the prayer that we made in the room together,
which was the seal that we made after the first time I
meet his mother's side of the family,
thanking God for His grace along this journey
and the opportunities we had,
knowing in our hearts that all of these were blessings from above
that we don't ever deserve.
This blog is created simply because we enjoy reminiscing
the golden memories, precious moments and the teeny weeny little things
along this exciting journey of ours :)
the golden memories, precious moments and the teeny weeny little things
along this exciting journey of ours :)
Our good times and bad times.
Our personal insights towards love and life.
Our daily walk in experiencing Christ as the center of our relationship.
We are elated to share this with you,
so that all of us can encourage, inspire and be a blessing to one another
as children of God:)
Cheers!
Cheers!
Blessings,
